A Force Full Christmas

I had the opportunity to help out the 501st Legion on their Toys for Tots drive this year.  They did all the work and I got to take some fun pictures. 

For a donation to Toys for Tots you could have your picture taken with a Star Wars character.

 Oh sure we have to go through all kinds of hoops to get on board, but not him. Guess there really are special rules for the ruling class!

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The tree is up, the lights are on and the snow is here.

Roasted Chickens

I took this picture this evening of my chicken coop in the snow. I didn't mean to, but it looks like I've got them in a slow roaster.  Honest it is just a heat lamp.  Though I've got a few that aren't laying and I do like roasted chicken... hmmmmmm... what to do.

I'm not sure which I enjoyed more... the old air craft or watching the old airmen admiring the old aircraft.

I have more of the Sentimental Journey... that's a fun plane to shoot.  As I process them I'll add some more.

First Snow

This weekend's storms brought the first snow to the mountains.

Nosey neighbors

We went for a walk the other day through our neighborhood. As we passed the neighbor's fence several of them came up to us and just stared.  Not saying anything just to stare.  It was a bit awkward.  But I figured if they are going to stare at a guy with a camera they probably expect to have their picture taken.  Despite my best efforts, I could not get them to say cheese.

The best view...

After the Wellsville parade the town gathers to celebrate it's founding.  The crowd is so big it can be difficult to see.  These two figured out how to get the best view.

Scarry Dreams

When I was in grade school I repeatedly had the most vivid nightmares of being chased by a dinosaur around the school.

Apparently that dream still exists somewhere in the back of my mind.
